PM Modi on NEET Paper Leak: Strict Action Against the Accused
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the Prime Minister informed NDA Members of Parliament that the government acted immediately after receiving information about the alleged NEET paper leak.
According to Mr Rijiju, Prime Minister Modi said that all those involved in the case have been identified and arrested, with 13 accused currently lodged in jail. He added that the Prime Minister made it clear that those responsible for compromising the integrity of examinations should face the strictest possible punishment under the law.
The Prime Minister also said that multiple preventive measures have already been introduced to reduce the possibility of similar incidents in future examinations.
Government Focuses on Preventing Future Examination Leaks
Prime Minister Modi emphasised that preventing examination paper leaks requires close coordination among governments, investigating agencies, examination authorities and educational institutions. He called for stronger systems, better monitoring mechanisms and improved security protocols to ensure that competitive examinations remain credible.
The Prime Minister underlined that protecting the aspirations of millions of students is a national responsibility and said every effort must be made to ensure deserving candidates are not affected by unfair practices.

According to Mr Rijiju, the Prime Minister stressed that every trade agreement signed by India has been negotiated while giving the highest priority to the interests of Indian farmers. He said the agreements have been designed to promote economic growth while protecting agriculture and ensuring that national interests remain paramount.

Referring to the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, Prime Minister Modi urged NDA Members to play a constructive role in ensuring the smooth passage of important Bills. He also appealed to Opposition parties to cooperate in Parliament despite political differences.
The Prime Minister said that every elected Member of Parliament has a responsibility to serve the nation, safeguard the future of young people and contribute to India’s development. He called for healthy democratic debate while ensuring that Parliament functions effectively in the larger national interest.

During the meeting, leaders of NDA alliance partners passed a congratulatory resolution recognising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of India.
