Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh):
In a shocking incident from Andhra Pradesh, a woman allegedly plotted the murder of her husband with the help of her lover and hired rowdy sheeters by paying a ₹10 lakh contract.
The incident took place in Lingapuram village under Proddatur mandal of Kadapa district. The couple, identified as Ishwar Reddy and Shilpa Reddy, were residents of the area.
According to police sources, Shilpa Reddy was reportedly involved in an extramarital relationship with a युवक named Naga Sudheer, who works at the Proddatur Government Hospital. When her husband Ishwar Reddy came to know about the affair and confronted her, tensions escalated within the family.
Allegedly, Shilpa Reddy, along with her lover, hatched a conspiracy to eliminate her husband. To execute the plan, she reportedly sold around 14 tolas of gold and arranged ₹10 lakh, which was given as a “supari” (contract) to local rowdy sheeters.
As per the plan, the attackers attempted to kill Ishwar Reddy on the Proddatur bypass road. While he was travelling on a bike, the accused allegedly tried to ram him with a car and then attack him with knives.
However, in a dramatic turn, Ishwar Reddy managed to escape from the attackers and rushed to the nearest police station, where he lodged a complaint against his wife and her alleged lover.
