The Government of India is closely monitoring the evolving situation in the Gulf and West Asia, a senior official from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Monday.

Providing an update on travel and connectivity, the official said that approximately 100 flights are expected to operate from the United Arab Emirates to India today.
