RTC Driver Dies After Self-Immolation Protest Near Narsampet Depot

A tragic incident has shaken Telangana after an RTC driver, Shankar Goud, died following a self-immolation attempt during a protest demanding the merger of RTC with the state government.


🔥 Set Himself on Fire Outside Depot

According to reports, Shankar Goud poured petrol on himself and set himself ablaze in front of the Narsampet RTC depot as a mark of protest.

The extreme step is believed to be linked to ongoing dissatisfaction over the delay in fulfilling demands related to the RTC merger.


🚑 Suffered 80% Burns, Rushed to Hospital

Goud suffered around 80% burn injuries in the incident.

He was immediately shifted to MGM Hospital for emergency treatment.


⚠️ Died While Being Shifted to Hyderabad

Due to his critical condition, doctors decided to shift him to Hyderabad for advanced treatment.

However, he succumbed to his injuries near Karmanghat while being transported.
