Barpeta/Hojai, Assam: Narendra Modi on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing it of compromising national security and “singing to the tune of Pakistan.”

🗣️ Attack on Congress

Addressing an election rally in Barpeta district, the Prime Minister alleged that the opposition party has failed to take a strong stand on issues related to national security.

“Congress keeps singing to Pakistan’s tunes, compromising the nation’s security,” Modi said.

⚔️ Reference to ‘Operation Sindoor’

Highlighting the government’s actions, Modi said that his administration carried out “Operation Sindoor” targeting terror camps in Pakistan.

He contrasted this with what he described as the Congress party’s stance, accusing it of lacking clarity and commitment on security matters.

🗳️ Election Context

The remarks were made during campaign rallies in Assam, where political parties have intensified their attacks ahead of elections.

National security has emerged as a key theme in the political discourse during the campaign.
