Bengaluru/Dharwad, Karnataka: A shocking murder has been reported from Dharwad, where Fairoz Pathan, a 32-year-old Youth Congress leader, was brutally killed at his residence on Friday evening.


🔪 Brutal Attack Caught on CCTV

The incident, captured on CCTV cameras, took place around 6:30 pm at Pathan’s house.

According to footage, Pathan was sitting on the porch when a man wearing a blue-and-white checkered shirt entered his home and sat beside him. Two other men stood outside the gate.

Moments later, Pathan stood up while speaking on the phone. The attacker followed him and suddenly stabbed him in the stomach.


🏃 Attackers Flee Scene

After the initial assault, Pathan ran inside his house, but the attacker chased him, joined by the other accomplices. Another individual also joined the group shortly after.

Within seconds, the assailants fled the scene. Neighbours were left shocked and confused by the sudden chain of events.


💔 Body Found Inside House

Pathan’s body was later discovered on the bedroom floor. He had suffered severe injuries and was lying in a pool of blood, with indications of a head injury.


💍 Wedding in Two Weeks

Tragically, Pathan was scheduled to get married on April 24, just weeks before the incident, adding to the shock and grief among family and friends.


🚨 Police Investigation Underway

Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to identify and arrest the accused.

CCTV footage from the area is expected to play a crucial role in tracing the suspects and establishing the sequence of events.


🧩 Conclusion

The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, with investigators probing all possible angles in the case.
