Amit Shah Illegal Immigrants crackdown statement once again highlighted the Centre’s strong stand on national security and border protection. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said the government is fully committed to identifying and deporting every illegal immigrant living in the country.
The Home Minister made these remarks while addressing a public rally in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth nearly Rs 340 crore. Shah stated that the government is taking strict measures to strengthen border security and stop illegal infiltration into India.
Speaking on the issue, Amit Shah Illegal Immigrants policy was described as a zero-tolerance approach against unlawful entry into the country. Shah said illegal immigration poses a serious challenge to national security and social stability. He added that the Centre has adopted strict monitoring systems to identify infiltrators and strengthen border management across sensitive regions.
According to Shah, the government’s priority is to secure India’s borders and ensure that only legal citizens receive the benefits of welfare schemes. He said illegal immigration affects employment opportunities, public resources, and internal security, making it necessary for authorities to take firm action.
The Union Minister also appreciated the West Bengal government for quickly allotting 600 hectares of land to the Border Security Force (BSF). He said the land allocation was completed within a week and would help improve border infrastructure and operational preparedness. Shah called the move an important step toward strengthening security arrangements along border areas.
Apart from addressing issues related to illegal immigration, Amit Shah also spoke about patriotism and national unity. On the occasion of Veer Savarkar’s birth anniversary, he paid tribute to the freedom fighter and remembered his sacrifices for the nation. Shah described Savarkar as a dedicated nationalist who devoted his life to India’s independence and social reform.
As part of his three-day Gujarat visit, Amit Shah inaugurated several development and public welfare projects under corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. These projects included the renovation and development of the Jedva village lake, newly constructed libraries, and modern primary school buildings aimed at improving educational facilities in rural areas.
The Home Minister emphasized that development and security must go hand in hand for the country’s progress. He stated that the government is focusing equally on infrastructure growth, education, and national safety. Shah also said Gujarat continues to play a major role in India’s development journey through rapid infrastructure expansion and public welfare initiatives.
In the evening, Amit Shah is scheduled to inaugurate a newly constructed hostel building at the Mata Umiya Dham complex in Sola, Ahmedabad. He will also inaugurate the ‘Bharat Mata Square’ at Bhimjipura, which has been developed as a symbolic landmark celebrating patriotism and national pride.
Later during the visit, the Home Minister will chair a high-level review meeting at the Shahibaug Circuit House in Ahmedabad. The meeting will focus on assessing infrastructure readiness and preparations for major international sporting events, including the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and the World Police and Fire Games.
Officials are expected to discuss transport infrastructure, accommodation facilities, security arrangements, and urban development plans during the review meeting. The Gujarat government has been actively working on upgrading sports and civic infrastructure to host large-scale international events in the future.
Political observers believe Amit Shah Illegal Immigrants remarks are likely to remain a major national issue in the coming months. The Centre has repeatedly stressed the importance of border management, documentation, and identification systems to prevent unlawful entry into the country.
With his latest statement, Amit Shah once again underlined the government’s commitment to maintaining internal security, improving border infrastructure, and taking strict action against illegal immigrants across India.
