The announcement comes shortly after former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stepped down from the post following his move to the Rajya Sabha.

“Not Just a Post, But a Sacred Opportunity”

In his first statement after the announcement, Samrat Choudhary expressed gratitude to the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership.

“This is not just a post for me, but a sacred opportunity to serve the people of Bihar,” he said.

He further pledged to meet the expectations of the people with “loyalty, dedication, and honesty.”

Thanks to Party Leadership

Choudhary thanked the party’s central leadership for placing trust in him and entrusting him with the responsibility of leading the legislative party in Bihar.

He emphasized his commitment to governance and development in the state.

Vision for Bihar’s Development

Highlighting his future roadmap, he said he would work towards taking Bihar to “new heights of development, good governance, and prosperity.”

He also acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party guidance at the national level.
