Ranveer Allahbadia’s Witty Comeback Goes Viral

Content creator Ranveer Allahbadia has reacted with humor after comedian Samay Raina jokingly referred to him as the “monk who sold his Ferrari.”

The lighthearted exchange comes amid ongoing discussions surrounding the controversial episode of India’s Got Latent.

“Kaun Samay?” — A Subtle Dig?

During a recent public interaction captured by paparazzo Shailesh Pandey, Ranveer responded with a playful yet cryptic remark when Samay Raina’s name was brought up.

“Samay… kaun Samay? Kya Samay? Humara time. It’s our time; my time is now,” he quipped.

The comment quickly went viral, with fans interpreting it as a subtle comeback to Raina’s earlier jibe.

Background: The Controversy

The exchange follows backlash over a controversial remark made by Ranveer Allahbadia during an episode of Samay Raina’s YouTube comedy show India’s Got Latent.

The comment, which touched on sensitive topics, drew criticism online and sparked debate across social media platforms.

Samay Raina’s Take

In his stand-up special Still Alive, Samay Raina addressed the controversy, even defending Ranveer to some extent.

“It was so unfair what was happening to BeerBiceps,” he said, while also joking that the remark was difficult to defend.

He also humorously commented on Ranveer’s public persona, saying his image built around yoga and spirituality took a hit after the incident.

In another interaction, Ranveer emphasized maintaining positivity despite criticism.

“The more positivity you keep within yourself, the more you attract it… one should keep smiling,” he said, highlighting his approach to dealing with public scrutiny.

Show Set for Return

Meanwhile, Samay Raina also announced that India’s Got Latent will return for another run, with a twist — audiences may not be allowed to keep their phones during recordings.
